Design aficionados, you no longer have to hoard your old copies of Domino. The beloved interior design magazine, which before Pinterest acted as every decor lover’s physical mood board until it sadly folded in 2009, is gearing up for a comeback.
An article in today’s WWD reports that Conde Nast, who created the title in 2005, will resuscitate the brand “in the form of an e-commerce site with a quarterly print magazine.”
Heading up the shopping aspect is Project Decor, a site which allows members to shop curated sales like “Your Dream Living Room” or “St. Barts Style.”
On the edit side, so far one ex-Domino staffer has already been brought onboard. Michelle Adams, a former market editor at Domino, and most recently editor in chief at Lonny, will help recreate those dreamy pages.
